Celebrating our LGBTQ+ Housing ‘Pledge Pioneer’ status

We’re proud to announce that we’ve been awarded LGBTQ+ Housing Pledge Pioneer status in recognition of our commitment to LGBTQ+ resident equality and support. Thank you to everyone who’s helped us achieve this award.

Anna Williams, Diversity and Inclusion Manager said “It was an honour and a joy to represent Moat along with some of my wonderful colleagues at the pledge celebration event on Friday 19 September as both a co-sponsor of the pledge and one of the 28 organisations awarded Pledge Pioneer status this year, bringing the total so far to 44. Receiving this accreditation is extra special because the assessment panel includes LGBTQ+ residents”.

Congratulations to everyone involved in developing, delivering and using the pledge to help create a future where every LGBTQ+ person has access to safe, inclusive and supportive housing.

We’ll be using the panel’s feedback to make further improvements and retain our Pledge Pioneer status, or maybe even achieve Pledge Pioneer Plus status, when we resubmit our evidence in May 2027.
