We're committed to conducting our business in a lawful and ethical manner, working clearly and transparently with our suppliers. We expect our suppliers to hold themselves and their subcontractors accountable to the standards and practices adopted by Moat. We work with our suppliers to deliver contracts which are robust, fit for purpose and maximise value for money, as well as striving to maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of our buying and sourcing solutions.

In return, we expect our suppliers to comply with our various codes of conduct and policies:

Tendering your services

As a registered provider of social housing, we're required to advertise tenders above the Public Procurement Regulations 2015 thresholds using the Find a Tender Service (www.gov.uk/find-tender). All procurement activities above European thresholds are also advertised on Contracts Finder (www.gov.uk/contracts-finder). 

We also publish a pipeline of our anticipated future procurement activity which you can find here.

We use the Housing Procurement Portal for our tendering activities.  You can register free of charge and browse any opportunities that may interest you. Please visit housingprocurement.com for further information and to register.  You must be registered on the portal to respond to these opportunities.

By registering with the Housing Procurement Portal, you'll be able to:

  • Post a profile of your company, indicating the types of opportunities which are of interest to you. 
  • Receive email notifications whenever opportunities matching your profile become available. 
  • Register an expression of interest in a published opportunity.
  • Obtain and submit tender documents electronically.
  • See opportunities from other potential buyers, not just Moat.
