MOAT Big Door Knock 2026

Our strategy

Our 2026 - 2030 strategy sets our how we'll achieve our social purpose - to provide safe and affordable homes that make a real and lasting difference by supporting wellbeing, opening opportunities and helping our customers and communities thrive.

We’ve refreshed our Corporate Strategy, working with customers to understand the things that will make a real and lasting difference to their lives.

Our new Corporate Strategy sets our priorities and shared vision for what we need to achieve for our customers and communities. It brings our social purpose to life, ensuring that our homes build futures and are safe, secure, low-cost, and supported by consistently great services.

Moat Offer Community Support

Getting the basics right

Over the past year, we’ve spoken to customers across our communities to better understand their experiences of our homes and services.

Through initiatives such as the Big Door Knock and ongoing engagement activity, customers shared clear feedback about what matters most to them. Their feedback told us that we need to focus on getting the basics right – safe homes, reliable repairs, clear communication and being a landlord they can trust.

  • Our vision

By 2030, customers will experience safe, well-maintained homes, reliable services and a landlord they can trust.

We will be known as a disciplined and accountable organisation that gets the basics right, listens carefully and uses evidence to make the right decisions.

Every colleague, whatever their role, will recognise that the people who live in our homes are our customers. We all play a part in delivering for them.

This builds on our previous strategy, ensuring we're led by our social purpose and everything we do focuses on delivering homes that build futures.

  • Our strategic priorities

Our four strategic priorities set out what we will achieve by 2030. They are clear, focused and grounded in our responsibility as a landlord.
