Customer Advocates

Are you a Moat customer who wants to help shape how we do things? Join our team of Customer Advocates to review and improve our services for everyone.

  • Making a difference together

We're incredibly grateful to our 201 dedicated Customer Advocates - Moat tenants, shared owners, leaseholders, and freeholders – who volunteer their time to represent your needs and preferences. This year, their invaluable input has been crucial in improving our services for all customers. We're committed to continuing this collaborative partnership, ensuring your voice is at the heart of everything we do.

Become a Customer Advocate

  • As a Moat customer, you're the true expert on living in your home and community. That's why your perspective is so important to us.

As a Customer Advocate, you'll represent customers' viewpoints to directly shape and improve our services.

  • There are many ways to get involved, including:

    • Completing surveys.
    • Attending focus groups and meetings.
    • Providing feedback on specific service areas.

"I'm happy to be part of a voice that influences good and continuing progress."

Your Voice, Our Action

As an advocate you can contribute as much or as little time as you like, either online or in person. After each task, you'll receive feedback on your input. We'll also reimburse your travel expenses and enter you into a quarterly prize draw for gift cards (T&C's apply). Plus, you'll gain new skills, experiences, and the opportunity to meet new people.

We’ve created a newsletter to celebrate advocates' contributions and keep you informed of the positive service improvements we’re making because of them.

Other opportunities to share your voice

If being a Customer Advocate doesn't suit you, there are other ways to get involved:

  • Participate in a local resident or retirement living group
  • Take part in work shadowing or placements with Moat or our contractors
  • Volunteer at one of our four community hubs across Kent.

Reach out to us using the contact details above to explore these options.
