We’ve had reports that a company called Property Krowd has sent letters to some of our customers. These letters ask you to scan a QR code and verify your address, claiming this will give you access to a community with information about repairs to your home and energy savings.
The letter mentions Moat and has used our logo, but we want to make it clear: Property Krowd has no connection to Moat. We haven’t instructed them to collect any information from you and we also haven’t provided them with any information regarding the energy efficiency of your home. Energy certificates are public and can be found on the gov.uk website.
We can’t confirm whether Property Krowd is a legitimate organisation. If you receive a letter from them, please take the time to read it carefully before engaging with their services. It’s important to keep your personal information safe, and you don’t have to share it if you’re unsure.
