TRIGGER WARNING – DOMESTIC ABUSE

No More Week is an annual, international campaign to raise awareness of domestic abuse and sexual violence. 

Did you know that …

• • 2.1 million adults were victim of domestic abuse in the year ending March 2023?
    
    That’s 1.4 million women and 751,000 men

• • 1 in 5 adults will experience domestic abuse in their lifetime?
    
    That’s 1 in 4 women and 1 in 6 men

• • 1 in 5 children in the UK have lived with an adult perpetrating domestic abuse?
    
    
  • 62% of children living with domestic abuse are directly harmed by the perpetrator of the abuse?
    
    This is in addition to the harm caused by witnessing the abuse of others.

• • On average, 2 women a week and 2 men a month are killed by a current or former partner in England and Wales?
