Customer Advocates

Are you a Moat customer who wants to help shape how we do things?

We want to have a true partnership with our customers, and one of the ways that we are doing this is building a pool of enthusiastic Customer Advocates, who represent the customer viewpoint to help us review and improve our services.

Ways to get involved

There’s a whole range of activities that Customer Advocates can get involved in, such as focus groups, readers’ groups and one-off or regular group meetings. You can give as little or as much time as you like and we aim to be as flexible as possible so that as many customers can take part in areas that interest them. However you decide to take part we’ll provide support with training, where we will explain the role and our expectations. You can do this either online or in person and after every task you’ll receive feedback on how it went. Take a look at our 'Getting Involved' guide for more information.

The benefits

In return you’ll be entered in a quarterly prize draw with the chance to win a gift card! You’ll also gain new skills and experiences and the opportunity to meet new people. If being a Customer Advocate isn’t for you, there’s other ways of giving us your viewpoint and these include; being part of a local resident or retirement living group, taking part in work shadowing or work placements with Moat or one of our contractors, or volunteering at one of our four community hubs across Kent.
