Everything you need to know about moving from your shared ownership home can be found below.
Depending on your lease, we have up to two months to find a suitable buyer for the share of your home, and you should not instruct an estate agent during this period.
Take a look at our Guide to Selling for an outline of the process, and once you are ready, please email email@example.com to request a selling pack, quoting your customer reference number and property address. Your home will need to be valued by one of our panel of Chartered Surveyors, details of which can be found by viewing this PDF. If the property is jointly owned, both parties must agree to the sale.
You may be able to apply for another shared ownership property – either with Moat or another housing association – subject to various criteria. You will first need to apply to your local Help to Buy agent.
