Grounds maintenance company idverde has generously donated £10,000 to Moat Foundation, providing a welcome boost to the foundation’s charitable community work.
Members of idverde met with the Moat Foundation team to present the cheque. The donation is earmarked for existing programmes in Moat Foundation’s community hubs and will also support the delivery of several initiatives currently in the pipeline.
Richard Burton, Managing Director at idverde, said: “idverde is delighted to make this donation to Moat Foundation and to support the local communities in which it works. In the course of providing our grounds maintenance services to Moat’s properties, our colleagues are in regular contact with local residents and we are pleased that the donation will be used to deliver projects which will help support those communities. We look forward to seeing these projects develop and will continue to support Moat Foundation with its goal of helping to develop people and communities.”
Moat Foundation delivers activities through five community hubs with the aim to enhance and build cohesive communities, focusing on those who face challenges due to age, ill health or financial hardship.
Mumtaz Samad, Head of Moat Foundation, said: “This money will make a great difference in the communities that we support. It will help us continue the wide range of social value projects in our community hubs in Kent and Essex, including much-needed programmes for young people during the coming February half-term and Easter holiday. We are incredibly grateful to idverde for this amazing donation.”
