Painting and decorating contractor, Armour Hart Group, met with members of Moat Foundation to present a generous £20,000 cheque. The donation will help to fund Moat Foundation’s social value activities, delivered through our five community hubs.
A portion of the donation is earmarked for health, wellbeing and digital inclusion programmes for older customers living in our rented homes and retired living schemes. The funding will also support programmes for young people in Kent, including one-to-one mentoring, support with staying in education, and employment training.
Steve Pennington and Keith Ginn, Directors at Armour Hart Group, said: “At Armour Hart Group, we believe that partnering with Moat is not just about delivering excellent services, but also about making a positive impact in the communities where we work. Supporting Moat Foundation is an excellent way to achieve this.”
Mumtaz Samad, Head of Moat Foundation, said: “This is an amazing amount of money and we have identified some great initiatives that this donation will support. In particular, it will provide a funding boost for our new strategy as our team looks to develop ‘bigger and better’ social value activities for our communities in 2020.
“Thank you, Armour Hart, for your very kind donation. It will make such a great difference to the lives of many residents, both young and old!”
