Accessibility

We are committed to making our site more accessible for everyone who may wish to use it.

Perceivable

If you find the text size on this website too small or too large, you can change the size of the text by holding the Control key (‘Ctrl’) and pressing the ‘+’ or ‘-’ keys accordingly. Each time you press one of these keys the size of the text should increase or decrease by 25%.

You should also have a button in the bottom right corner of your screen showing a magnifying glass and a percentage. Clicking this will zoom either in or out (depending on your personal settings) by 25%. To the right of the percentage there is an arrow; clicking this will allow you to select a zoom percentage appropriate to you.

Alternatively, if you have a mouse with a roller ball, you can hold the ‘Ctrl’ key and roll the ball on the mouse forward or backward to find the appropriate text size.

The colour scheme has been chosen to least affect those who may have difficulty discerning colour differences. If you have issues you may like to look at your browser’s or computer’s high-contrast modes or browser plug-in.

Operable

The site can be operated by keyboard if mouse skills don’t suffice. Using the TAB, SPACE and ENTER keys will allow the highlighting of links and execution. The status bar will give hints as to the destination pages.

If finding content via the menus is proving difficult, then the search function will help you get directly to the area of need.

Video used on the site can be opened directly in Youtube where further features exist for manipulating the video, such as full screen, closed captions and speed controls.

Many of the downloadable documents that are available within this website are in Portable Document Format (PDF). This format is extremely reliable and also compatible with any number of platforms. We have chosen to use PDFs in an effort to sustain data security and integrity within our website. To view a PDF document you need to download the Adobe Acrobat Reader free of charge, directly from Adobe. You can do this by following the link below:
