This group was established in 2009 as a result of a discussion at Moat Residents’ Forum (MRF). It was noted that more time in MRF meetings was being taken up by policy and procedures than anything else. PPSWP is a direct sub-committee of MRF. Members of PPSWP are made up of members of MRF and designated individuals from Moat’s area residents’ associations.
The role of PPSWP
PPSWP receives all proposals to change or introduce new policy, procedures or strategies within Moat. The group also comments or makes suggestions for possible improvements. More specifically, PPSWP will:
- Discuss and agree with Moat staff any changes or the reason why a change is not acceptable
- To make a recommendation to MRF as to whether they should approve the final proposal for change.
