MPSG is a resident group that discusses issues with senior staff relating to asset management (how we look after the properties that we own). This group talks about repairs, major works, gas servicing and the general direction of how Moat manages its homes.
Objectives to guarantee results
In order to be as effective as possible, MPSG will:
• Represent the interest of residents on all matters concerning the investment and management of Moat's properties
• Share information with the area residens' groups, ensuring that any recommendations from the group reflect local issues
• Receive key information on service performance and recommend improvements
• Work closely with Moat staff on a long term strategy for the organisation's asset management
• Annually discuss the budget priorities with senior Moat staff
• Consider all options for improving services.
Similar to the Moat Residents’ Forum, the group membership is made up of two designated members of each area residents' group, as well as other residents who have demonstrated an interest by regularly attending area residents' group meetings.
The group meets every quarter with the Director of Property Services and key contractors (when requested) to receive information and discuss issues.
