Getting involvedignore

Moat realises that residents play a vital role in tailoring the services we offer. With this in mind, Moat offers many ways in which our residents can get involved, including the Ideas Catcher, residents' associations and Mystery Shopping.

Moat does offer training and development opportunities to those who wish to get involved and help Moat develop the services residents receive. Below, you will see highlights of the range of ways in which you can get involved.

Moat's resident involvement review

During February and March 2012, Moat is carrying out a review of resident involvement arrangements. The main aim is to modernise and improve the way we involve residents, making involvement methods more accessible and appealing, and enabling residents to have more influence.

We would like to invite all residents to help us with this review; there are two ways to get involved. Firstly you can print and fill out the survey linked below and send it Freepost by Friday 2 March 2012 to Customer Engagement, Freepost, RRCB-HHJS-LXXR, Moat, Dartford, DA2 6QE.

Alternatively, you can attend one of our focus groups, taking place on 1 and 2 March at Mariner House, Galleon Boulevard, Crossways, Dartford, DA2 6QE. Moat will cover your travel expenses and, as a thank you, a £10.00 shopping voucher will be offered to any resident attending a focus group.

If you would like to attend a focus group, please call Sophie Lake, Customer Engagement Officer, on 0845 359 6449 to book your place, or email us at feedback@moat.co.uk.

Moat Residents' Forum (MRF)

Moat Property Services Group (MPSG)

Policy, Procedure and Strategy Working Party (PPSWP)

This group was established back in 2009 as a result of a discussion at Moat Residents' Forum (MRF). It was noted that policy and procedure queries were taking up the majority of the MRF meetings, therefore PPSWP was set up as a direct sub-committee of MRF.

The link below provides further detail on PPSWP.

Join a residents' association

Moat actively encourages the establishment of residents' groups. We see it as a key part of our resident involvement strategy.

Mystery Shopping is a tool which is used to test our frontline services and gain feedback about the experiences of our residents. Mystery Shopping can be conducted in a range of ways, and any Moat resident can become a Mystery Shopper.
