Thinking of selling and moving on?
If you are thinking of selling your shared ownership home, you should contact us so that we can attempt to identify a new purchaser for your share. In accordance with your lease, Moat has a period of two months to market your home (some leases may vary).
Selling your home
Our resales team has a high success rate in identifying new purchasers, and targets local first time buyers through our applicant database and your local authority.
An administration fee for selling your property is payable, and is much less than estate agency charges. The fee varies depending on your lease.
If we are unable to find a buyer during the period stated in your lease, you can then use an estate agent to sell your home.
