Applying for a rented home

We develop new homes for rent each year, and we also re-let properties as they become empty. Altogether we make around 1000 new lettings each year, working very closing with local authorities. Most new Moat tenants are referred to us via their local housing authority register, or choice based lettings scheme.

If you would like to live in a Moat home you need to contact your local authority and ask to be included on their Housing Register. We only keep a small waiting list for housing, mainly for residents who are over 55 years and who require sheltered housing.

If you are homeless, or threatened with homelessness, you should contact the local authority as they have a duty to provide housing advice and may be able to provide you with some form of temporary accommodation.
