Sheltered and supported housing estate inspections
Moat's Sheltered and Supported Housing Services team carry out an inspection of all our developments every six months.
The purpose of this visit is to:
- Identify any repairs required to the communal areas of your scheme/estate
- Identify any tenant's garden, which is either unkempt or covered in litter or rubbish
- Identify the use of commercial vehicles or cars, which are not taxed and/or unroadworthy, making it difficult for neighbours to park their cars
- Identify any issues with fly tipping and dumped rubbish
The main purpose of the estate inspection is to identify any issues with your scheme/estate, not to inspect the interior of individual properties.
We welcome residents to join us on inspections because you can give us valuable information about issues and how they affect quality of life in the neighbourhood.
