- Do you borrow from doorstep lenders?
- Do you have little or no credit history?
- Do you have a bank account which does not allow a direct debit service?
- Do you have a pre-pay meter for your gas and electricity?
- Do you struggle to manage your income?

Our financial inclusion service has brought many of our residents much needed peace of mind and has helped turn around their financial situation. The involvement of Moat’s in house financial inclusion team helps people to feel supported.
We take a holistic approach to supporting all Moat residents. A financial inclusion officer offers free advice, personal visits and advocacy support; tailoring the service to individual needs. If the resident is seeking specialist debt advice the welfare benefits officer refers them to the Citizens Advice Bureau or alternative local advice agencies.
