Social rent 

 

Available by applying through your local authority, Moat provide a range of homes for low income households and vulnerable people in need of housing, to rent a home at a reduced rate.

Rent to HomeBuy/discounted rent 

 

Available direct through Moat, this ‘try before you buy’ scheme gives first time buyers the opportunity to rent their home before purchasing it at a later stage on a shared ownership (part buy/part rent) basis.

Mortgage Rescue 

 

For existing home owners in financial difficulty, Moat also provides government funded assistance by enabling them to rent their home instead. 

 

The scheme provides help for some of the most vulnerable households facing repossession to stay in their homes and within their communities.
