Moat is the government appointed HomeBuy agent for Kent, Sussex and Essex. We provide a "one stop shop" for properties in these areas. This means that once you are registered with Moat, you are able to reserve a property on the HomeBuy scheme with any housing association, subject to property eligibility criteria.

Moat works closely with other housing associations to provide you with details of available homes in your area.

You can view properties with Moat and other housing associations via the HomeBuy website www.homebuy.co.uk

Please contact the relevant housing association to register your interest in a property. If you give them your Moat reference number, they can contact Moat on your behalf to obtain a copy of your application form.

Your home is at risk if you do not keep up rent and mortgage repayments or payments on other loans secured on it.

Please note that the value of properties can go down as well as up.
