There are three ways to apply to Moat. The simplest and quickest way is to do this online:

When you complete the application form online, your information reaches us within seconds of submitting it. You will receive an automated email response confirming that it has reached us safely.
If you are unable to complete an application online, call us on 0845 359 6161 and we will put an application form in the post to you. Alternatively click here to download a printable version of the HomeBuy application form.
You can also request an application pack by clicking here. Please note that packs can take up to four working days to be posted to you.
However you apply, please fill in as much information on the application form as you can. If we receive an application that is incomplete, this can cause delays to the decision about your eligibility.
What happens next?
We carry out an initial evaluation on all applications based on household need, financial affordability and other criteria. We then write and confirm whether your application has been accepted or not. You will hear from us within eight working days from the date that we receive your application. If we are unable to help you, we will explain why.
If you are eligible, we will write to you with an indication of which HomeBuy options we feel may suit your requirements. Our letter will explain what happens next.
Where properties are available that match your requirements, we will send information to you either by email or in the post.
Please do not make an offer on a property, confirm a mortgage offer, or part with any money before we confirm to you in writing that you are eligible to proceed with a specific HomeBuy option.
