Moat welcomes two new board members…
Alan Palmer and Edward Brown have joined Moat’s main board.
Alan enjoyed a long career as a director with Commercial Union (now part of Aviva) and also worked for the Department for Constitutional Affairs. He was previously a non-executive director with Kent Reliance Building Society.
Ted Brown is a sector managing director on the main board of Rentokil Initial, the largest business to business service company in the world.
We warmly welcome them both and look forward to using their very considerable strategic, commercial and management expertise in support of Moat’s business.
…while three new directors join the team
Moat has made new appointments to three important posts. Chris Ollier has arrived from the London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority to become director of property services, Ebele Akojie is our new director of financial planning and risk, and Phil Davison has joined as director of corporate performance.
Two of the directors are returning to Moat after gaining experience elsewhere. Chris previously ran our planned and responsive repairs service from 1998 to 2001, while Phil worked for Moat from 2000 to 2005 in a variety of roles before moving to Orbit HA. Ebele also has previous housing association experience, having worked as head of corporate finance for Shaftesbury Housing Group before joining the Housing Finance Corporation.
