Enchantment wins over the judges

Enchantment, Moat’s new scheme of 20 shared ownership homes in Sittingbourne, Kent was ‘highly commended’ recently in the residential development of the year category of the Kentish Times Property Awards 2008.

Built in a challenging location, the scheme was beautifully designed, with feature balconies and cedar timber cladding to a curved corner frontage adding a modern twist to the streetscape which obviously appealed to buyers. All 20 homes were reserved nine months before the development was finished and every home was occupied within two weeks of practical completion. Nearly 85% of the new residents live or work in the local area or have strong connections to Sittingbourne.
